GriefShare

Your Journey from Mourning to Joy

GriefShare is a 14-week, Biblically-based, and Christ-centered support group program for anyone who has lost a family member or friend due to death.  At Clearwater Community Church, you will find open arms and open hearts.  We know it hurts and we want to help.  The journey from mourning to joy shouldn’t be walked alone. Each GriefShare group is facilitated by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and support during this difficult time. Each session includes a video of helpful information provided by pastors, Christian counselors, and other experts, and a time of sharing with others who also have lost a loved one.

The next cycle of GriefShare at CCC will begin Tuesday, August 29, 2017, from 9:30 am - 11:30 am, in room 101 in the Worship Center. Enter through doors facing Belcher Road and follow the GriefShare signs to park.

A one-time fee of $15.00 is required at the first session for the cost of the workbook.

For more information and/or to express interest in attending, please contact Sarah Finnerty at finnerette@verizon.net or 727-791-7780.  You may also register through the church office (727-799-4444). To find a GriefShare group near you meeting during the summer, please visit the GriefShare website, www.griefshare.org.

2 Corinthians 1:3-7: Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.
