Pinewood Derby

Come compete in our first Pinewood Derby!

What is a Pinewood Derby?  It is great fun where your family gets to design and build small cars out of a block of wood at home and then bring it on Race Day to see how you do.  Pinewood Derby cars are simply small models of specified dimensions, created, carved, and assembled by the participants, under the guidance of parents or other family members.  The cars are gravity powered and run down a regulation track.  You and your kids will race to see who has the fastest car.  Not everyone in your family needs to race, just those who want to.  There will also be special mention of cars who are the most Creative, Funniest looking, and most Realistic.
