Evening of Worship and Prayer – Oct. 2nd
Romans 12:9-13 // “9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. 10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. 11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. 13 Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.”
These characteristics are being beautifully made visible in the wake of Helene. Still, there is a need to make space for the commingling of GRIEF and HOPE.
We will spend some time praying, singing, lamenting, rejoicing, and hoping together, Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Come all who are weary and heavy-laden. May Christ be your rest.
