Bill is adding to his team of drivers to gather food items for Harriet’s. Currently he needs back-up drivers for Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. The route begins at 7:00 am at the Walmart on Highland & Sunset Point. After the collection there, it proceeds to the Dunedin Walmart Neighborhood Market on 580 then to Harriet's to drop off by 10:00 am. This route needs a pickup and a person that can handle boxes up to 50 lb.
Drivers are also needed on Thursdays and route stops at the Dunedin Sav A Lot between 8-9:30 am, then drops off at Harriet’s by 10:00am.
Another driver is needed for a different route on Monday and Friday. This Route collects food at the Winn-Dixie on 580 & CR 1 between 10 & 10:30 Mondays and Fridays then proceeds directly to Harriet’s for drop off. This route needs a pickup and a person that can handle boxes up to 50 lb. If you can help with this driving aspect of this ministry, contact Bill Buckley at 727-437-9247.
Harriet’s Procurement Team
Harriet's is also looking for volunteers to shop in bulk to build-up and maintain Harriet’s food inventory. The person would work with the Procurement Team Coordinator and be given guidance as to what items are needed each week for distribution to clients. Each person would serve in one of the following two roles: (Training would be provided and communication with the Procurement Team Coordinator would be ongoing).
